Both, a hospital and a research center, are located inside the King Saud bin Abdul-Aziz University for Health Science. The hospital is specialized in treatment for children. That makes it the first hospital of its kind in Saudi Arabia, with a complete floor space of 85,000 m2. The building has 350 beds which makes concentrated pediatric medical care possible. Each hospital ward has its own classrooms, playrooms, storage areas and other support services.
