Project Qatar

ECOTHERM enthuses audience at “Project Qatar” in Doha in Qatar.
ECOTHERM exhibited from 30 April to 02 May 2012 at the “Project Qatar” in Doha, Qatar. The leading provider of individual solar, hot water and steam systems, based in Austria in Hartkirchen, convinced the audience with various innovations. “Our new fiber-fleece insulation solutions for hot water tanks has attracted most of our visitors. In addition, we presented our new product range ‘photovoltaic solutions’. Additionally there is continuous great interest in our high capacity shell & tube heat exchangers,” says Herbert Bremstaller, managing director and owner of ECOTHERM Austria GmbH. ECOTHERM has been active together with its local agent Green Technology & Contracting Co. (W.L.L.) in Qatar for more than 10 years. Recently, the entire hot water and steam system for the Sidra Medical and Research Center in Doha has been delivered. Sidra is scheduled to open in the coming months and will be the first 7-star hospital in the world.

Innovations as basis of success
Using hand samples ECOTHERM presented its new fibre-fleece insulation solution for the first time to the public. The insulation system with polyester fiber-fleece offers up to 30 percent less heat losses in standby mode compared to conventional foam insulations. The patented aluminum closure strip allows simple and quick opening of the outer cover by only one person. Since February 2012 ECOTHERM provides photovoltaic solutions up to 7,000 kWp. “Our engineers select the optimal combination of photovoltaic modules and inverters for each project. We can simulate the performance of the plant during the year and offer our customers the possibility of visualizations, animations and options for monitoring the system in operation,” Herbert Bremstaller describes the services offered by ECOTHERM. High capacity shell & tube heat exchangers of ECOTHERM are equipped with patented free-floating turbulator rods. The rods allow the water to flow through the tubes only at the outer surface. Therefore the water flows through the heat exchanger at high speed, and the desired temperature is reached in only one pass through the heat exchanger
within one second. “Therefore highest efficiency and minimal floor space requirements are convincing arguments of our plants,” said Bremstaller.

Project Qatar
The exhibition “Project Qatar” took place from 30 April to 02 May 2012 in Doha, the capital of Qatar, for the ninth time. The fair presented products and services in the fields of design, construction, environmental technology and materials. The exhibition has established itself as a premier platform for the rapidly growing construction sector in Qatar. 2011 more than 1,750 exhibitors from 42 countries attended.

Qatar market information
