Libyan company Erawn founds “ECOTHERM Libya” as franchise.
On the 1st of March, the Libyan company Erawn Alternative Energy Technologies signed the contract to start as a franchise of ECOTHERM Austria and will now found “ECOTHERM Libya” in Tripoli. Erawn has already been active in the field of solar thermal and photovoltaic applications for private houses, commercial applications and industry. “The high quality and the big variety of the product range of ECOTHERM Austria has convinced us to expand our business in Libya”, states Adel Suliman, CEO of Erawn. “Within the next couple of weeks we will further improve several tools, which optimally support our franchise partners at their daily work: ECOSIZE to design systems and generate offers, a CRM module and the franchise manuals with an online member area with a huge variety of ready-to-use digital templates”, explains Dipl.-Ing. Dr. Christoph Stangl, Sales & Marketing Manager International of ECOTHERM Austria. Within the next months further franchisees shall be found – especially in Middle East and Asia.
Libya Build Exhibition
ECOTHERM and Erawn met at the Libya Build exhibition in 2013. The Austrian specialist for solar, hot water and steam systems exhibited from 19th to 23rd of May at this construction fair in Tripoli. The goal of ECOTHERM was to find a local sales partner for solar, hot water and steam systems. “This goal was achieved one hundred percent.” says Christoph Stangl. In 2014 Erawn will now exhibit as “ECOTHERM Libya” at the Libya Build, which is organized from 19th to 22nd of May in Tripoli.
Franchise system
“The manuals of ECOTHERM’s franchise system define all important daily processes for our franchise partners. Who does what, when, with which tools, how and why,” says Stangl.
An extranet provides a “digital shelf” with a selection of sales presentations, training materials, design templates, checklists and software tools. “ECOTHERM has experience of more than 25 years in more than 30 markets around the world. We know very well what strategies lead to success. Now we have used this knowledge as a basis of our franchise system,” Stangl explains. Franchisees receive support at sales activities, project management and ongoing trainings at the ECOTHERM Academy from the headquarters in Austria and of the ECOTHERM support centers.
