Watson McDaniel presented its new high capacity water heaters WSSE at the AHR Show in New York from the 21st to the 23rd of January. The water heaters are OEM manufactured by ECOTHERM – the Austrian spezialist for steam, hot water and solar systems. The WSSE water heaters are equipped with shell & tube heat exchangers made of stainless steel with patented free floating turbulator rods. The rods made of stainless steel force the water in the tubes to flow through only at the outside of the tubes. Since the water flows through the heat exchanger at high velocity, temperatures up to 150 degrees Fahrenheit can be reached in only one pass through the heat exchanger within one second. This saves energy, space and costs on steam or hot water systems for hotels, hospitals and industry. “The potential for the space savings is of up to 95 percent,” explains Robert T. Hickey, President & General Manager of Watson McDaniel, adding: “Within the next couple of months we plan to launch this new product range in the whole US.”
