ECOTHERM developed its pilot project for solar steam in 2015 as the first on-roof Fresnel system in Austria. Solar steam generation is designed to save energy costs and reduce CO2 emissions by reducing the overall consumption of fossil fuels. The solar steam system can be easily integrated into an existing system and reduce the energy costs to up to 75%, depending on the area, as it is based solely on solar energy.
