History.
The blacksmiths providing services for horses and horse-drawn wagons was established well over a century ago in 1880 by the great grandfather of the current CEO and proprietor Eng. Herbert B. Bremstaller junior.
Today the company can look back proudly on a long tradition of 4 generations under family management.
Construction of a works hall with a 400 m² production area. The company is focused during this period on steel construction, aluminum portals construction and special custom-made products for industry in Upper Austria.
Purchase of a development site in the Karlinger Strasse on the outskirts of Hartkirchen and construction of an 800 m² production hall.
Specialization begins on stainless steel processing and the stainless-steel equipment construction. The development of an own product range in the area of hot water preparation is started.
The first stainless steel heat exchanger with the revolutionary free-floating turbulator rods is developed. A number of patents are applied for and issued for this invention.
The twelve-sided (dodecagonal) administration building in the Karlingerstrasse is built. In addition, a passivation plant for the final treatment of the stainless-steel products is constructed.
Establishment of ECOTHERM Mexico SA de CV. The sales office markets ECOTHERM Economizer for hotels and hospitals and also heat exchangers for swimming pools.
The company ECOTHERM Austria GmbH is established. Products that are the technological global leaders are now distributed direct in numerous countries worldwide.
Installation of the first turnkey system in Dubai.
Expansion of the production hall and new building and extension for administration
Integration of the company Bremstaller in ECOTHERM Austria GmbH.
Certification to ISO 9001.
An additional production hall is built.
The ECOTHERM International Support Centre is opened in Dubai.
ECOTHERM starts its self-developed franchise system.
ECOTHERM's online software ECOSIZE is available for planners for configurating hot water systems.
